It has been a while since I posted anything, never mind an up date on the new layout, christened Park Road, a nice non-descript name that could be anywhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

between June and December 2024 the layout progressed quite rapidly to the point the mojo was lost. With the release of Bachmanns new 08 the mojo has returned and thoughts turned to the next stage in the development of the layout, Lighting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small order was made with Layouts4u for some yard lamps, lampposts and some building lights. The weekend work was to get these planted and wired in, and oh boy, they make a difference! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following pictures will give you an idea on where the layout is at the moment, starting with zoom shot of 37305, 08329 and 47711.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the right hand side of the layout are the entrence and exit lines to the foreground (or, depending on how I am feeling, the nearest line, which leads to the fuel point, could just be a headshunt, thus creating more operational challenges) with three sidings beyond them. One of thefar two sidings also serves as the headshunt for the shed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is by far my favourite image, this end will be enhanced even further when I wire up the shed lights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
