As mentioned in a previous post an order was placed with Grainge and Hodder for some of their laser-cut baseboard kits. Delivery time was about two weeks, not that time was a factor and in terms of cost, they represent excellent value for money<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These kits are impressively easy to put together, being laser-cut they are made to fit together perfectly. I used generous amounts of wood glue when assembling, wiping off any excess with a damp cloth. Whilst the glue dried, I used masking tape to hold it all together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kit does not come with any fasteners so some M6 bolts, washers, and wing nuts were ordered, just to hold everything together,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The layout will be supported on twin slot brackets, with 5 uprights providing the support, although I do have a sixth one available if it needs it, the photo below shows Isca Sidings on the twin slot, although this has all been rearranged since this photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
